Concrete Cat is an ongoing collaboration between Shawna and Matt Heide,they began working together in 2002 and founded Concrete Cat in 2007. Best known for their signature surface pattern design,the Oracle, adorning their maximalist design objects, bespoke architectural detail, furniture and numerous creative collaborations. Concrete Cat is fiercely dedicated to local sourcing, in house production and continuous improvement. To that end the founders carry out all aspects of the studio; design, fabrication, and fulfillment are completed by the four hands of the founders. Hand made at a seemingly impossible scale.
